PAS68 Bollards feed

Leomarc Systems are able to supply and install a range of high security PAS68 bollards, which have been successfully impact tested in accordance with the BSI PAS 68.

 

The bollards offer assured protection against hostile vehicle attack at specific levels of security and budget.

 

Bollards are available which have been designed to protect against:

 

- a 1.5 tonne saloon car at 30mph

- a 2.5 tonne 4x4 vehicle at 40mph

- a 7.5 tonne 2 axle (N2) lorry at 40mph

 

All bollards are available in a number of styles in steel and stainless steel.

PAS 68 perimeter security solutions are designed to offer high levels of terrorist bomb protection.

Key government, public and commercial buildings are at risk, as is our critical national infrastructure (CNI) such as utilities and major transport hubs. In addition, adequate protection must be provided for members of the public as they go about their daily lives in crowded places such as shopping centres, sports arenas, visitor attractions, cinemas, bars and restaurants, indeed in all locations where people gather together in numbers.

In each case, providing robust physical security will reduce the risk of terrorist bomb attack and deliver additional blast protection for both people and assets located at security-sensitive sites

The systems have been developed with the requirement for minimal groundworks. This reduces the need to re-route local utilities (such as power/gas supplies and communications cables) located underneath the pavement. The resulting rapid installation reduces disruption as well as enabling savings to be made on both project programme time and budget.
